Oak lodge students’ excel in the creative arts. Our programme focuses on the intuitive creativity and expression within all students. Every student experiences success in creating, expressing and performing, enabling them to develop confidence and pride in their own creative ideas.

Art gives our students a “voice.

Pupils engage in a personal journey, beginning with basic theory and skills, and resulting in sophisticated responses.

They actively participate in a wide variety of disciplines:

DRAWING, PHOTOGRAPHY, PAINTING, SCULPTURE, CERAMICS,

COMPUTER GRAPHICS, ANIMATION, FILM MAKING, DANCE, DRAMA, STORY TELLING.

OLS has a dynamic cross-curricular arts programme.

Cross curricular arts projects encourage creative thinking and problem solving skills, requiring students to transfer information. Past projects have resulted in video and performance outcomes that have reached a large audience.

Art is a reflection of the world we live in.

The creative arts enable students to develop a broader understanding of the world through art theory and practice.
