The Bully Machine
The Bully Machine
Year 8 and 9 Art and Design students from Oak Lodge School worked on a video and animation project based on the book “Goodbye Bully Machine” (Author: Debbie Fox, Allan L. Beane)
This is their submission to the “Create Competition” run by NDCS Buzz. They used stop frame and time lapse animation techniques focussing on the anti-bully message. They also used a variety of compositing techniques and green screen technology to film dramatic signed commentary. They had access to an Apple Mac computer lab to edit their movie.
Students were required to work in teams and develop their skills of collaboration, animation, performance and analysis.
Their message is clear- There are many ways to reduce bullying, its a team effort!
