Darryl Bedford is an Advanced Skills Teacher responsible for creative use of technology across the curriculum. He is an Art teacher at Oak Lodge School for Deaf Children and works closely with several surrounding Wandsworth provisions to provide advice, support and training focusing on future technologies in the classroom. His recent work has focused on iPads in the classroom and “Access” technologies for special needs students. He has extensive knowledge and practice of creative cross-curricular project work featuring Apple technology. Darryl utilises video, animation, iPads and Internet technologies to encourage collaborative learning and forge cross-curricular links.
He has showcased his work at several conference in central London, delivered iPad training to the International School organisation, delivered keynote address during curriculum conferences and is currently working with 6 neighbouring schools to develop creative ICT projects to engage  disadvantaged students.
